Thumbs up New 5.0 Has TURNED ME ON!

I'm starting to see pics all over. From the spy pics, today Rear Wheel Dyno via YOUTUBE!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rf3Bz...layer_embedded

I'm an engineer here at work, and trying to concentrate on my job! I find myself like a kid thinking about buying a super lite BMX again!! This is GRRREAT!!!!

I have a 91 5.0 Supercharged Coupe in my Garage. I love it too, but it's going to have to move over for a new 2011 5.0!!!!!!

I'm getting really excited Folks--- aren't you!!!!????

THIS CAR AND FORD FEVER IS SICK!!!

Just back away from the computer slowly Mike....

What happens at the office should stay at the office.

You could also check out the discussion of that video in this thread.

Very cool, and nice to see someone else who feels the same and willing to put it out there--

Im sure there's a lot more out there -it's just that within the last week there's been some great pictures, videos, spy photos, report of best in class fuel economy 17/26, etc

Test Drive I'm sure is coming soon, then the 1/4 against the Camaro- BRING IT ON!!!

nah, nobody else excited . . . or spending too much time on this board during work . . .

I am a mechanical engineer from a "prior life" . . . but over the past 20 years or so I have lost my way, gotten distracted by business and family and "practical" boring cars like my current Camry . . .

But this 21st century pony car war is getting me back on track!

I'm excited about mechanical works of art like I used to be when I was young(er)!

It started with the new Camaro, and then I started looking at the Mustang again, and then I heard about the new 2011 models, thought the V6 was the "best of both worlds" (yes I have a 10-year-old daughter) but then started looking at the V8's . . . just the sound of a Bullitt at idle and I won't need Viagara until I'm at least 75 . . . and now with all the news and videos and sound tracks of the new 5.0, it's getting out of control . . .

I think I am going to buy myself one heckuva 50th birthday present later this year!

I was making $770 bucks a month as an E1 in the Navy in 1994 and had a 92' 5.0. $185/mo car payment and $300/mo insurance. Priorities!!!

Sweet! I should add that I've never been enlisted, just a civil servant engineer supporting DoD
