New 2010/2011 Mustang Photos? (Updated Pic Page #7)
I tend to agree. I think I must be one of the few that don't particularly like the GT500's front fascia though. I would much prefer the fogs in the grill rather than the bumper, personally. I do think the fogs on the current GT are a bit too big and would like to see ones somewhere between the size of the GT's and those of the V6 Pony Package.
Not that this guarantees it, but when something works well both visually and functionally, I think it will probably be carried over.
It does look like bumper fogs in the pic though, who knows, maybe on the V6?
The lack of opening on the grill is because of aero design and cooling.
The V6 has the same thing.
The fogs just happen to cover those blocks and achieve the same airflow as the blocked honeycomb.
I'm not so sure the fogs would work properly on a less square design (they'd have to be smaller)
They look good in the bumper with the shape/design of the new front end (from spy shots/mules etc)

After super exposing these you get a better idea. the right one from the original looks fine, but what is up with the nose of the left one???
Also the lights appear to have been camo'd somehow. don't know if they were chopped out or if there is paper over them, but the photos lines aren't right.
This "Photo" has definitely been chopped on.

According to some friends of friends of ours who work in the design team at Ford, the design for the 2010 was frozen in October 2005. It takes roughly 1.25 years to go through the engineering of making it manufactur-able ................... So its design frozen + 1.25+ 1+1 = 3 years.
I can't believe no one has commented on the clearest part of the pic...the colour! Looks like grabber orange to me! Which means I smell a Boss 302 in 2011. Please Ford just put a little more effort into it than the Bullitt. 6 speed, 425 horse 302, blacked out shaker hood, weight reduction, independent rear..
Not that I will be able to afford one...but a guy can dream

There is a lot of excitement about the new Challenger & Camaro. I even like them. Ford needs to start making some noise with this new 2010 Mustang.
Even if the GDI V8 isn't ready, I hope they bring out a 350-400hp Mach1 or something!

Topnotch, I will try to scan a better resolution (and the whole article) once I get home from work today. The original photo was a quick scan and I only wanted to get a "good" shot of the mustang to get peoples eye. The MKZ is a hoooootttt care, by the way. I've seen numerous ones around here, mostly in a baby blue color. Very different, and very forward for Lincoln. Hopefully it's a step in the right direction for Ford Motor.
I'm amazed at how people are surprised at the look of the upcoming 2010 Mustang. If you go back to the 2004 concept car (of the 2005 model), you'll notice that that is what we'll be getting , more or less. It's not new. People just conveniently forgot about it. Designs are done years in advance. Ford themselves stated a more aggressive "GT500" look with more angular lines long ago. It will be quite pleasing on the eyes, not to mention what is in store for various SE models. Look up the 2005 concept car (the silver one from NAPA) and tell me there's a difference.
Uh, there's a difference...
The 2004 concept is flat and sleek.
The 2010 is angular, and aggressive.
It's more Guigiaro angles/creases than concept angles/creases
(i'm talking angles/shapes here, not neccessarily looks...but you'll see where the cues come in)
