New 2010/2011 Mustang Photos? (Updated Pic Page #7)
i actually like it more than the one on the front page of that magazine. the one on that magazine look to much like that italian concept. but ford did say it come with fog lights in the grill so it make it look alot better i bet
The picture on the right IS the new mustang besides the lights. I live in Canton, Michigan, work in Dearborn (home of Ford Motor) and have two parents who work for Ford Motor Company. I see the 2010's ALL the time around here. The mustang pony logo on the front of the car is BIG...just like in the picture on the right. And the front fascia is just that of the new model. The only difference is the headlight's and the side mirrors. If anyone gets Ford World magazine, there is a photo of the new mustang "production model" being displayed at the new model unveiling. The picture isn't that great, but it gives you a sneak peak.
If the Pony grille emblem is actually going to be that big then it will look ridiculously out of scale and stupid.

Trust me, I LOVE the styling of my '06, but the lines of the 2010 from what I've seen driving around here is pretty sweet and aggressive. Ford for the most part is trying to bank off lines that are on the '10 Camaro. You can see a lot of similarities between the two. Like most, I also do not like the large mustang logo. FYI, the GT also features two large foglights (S197) on either side of the logo, which the photo does not depict.
If anyone is ever in the Dearborn area during the work week, just travel down either Oakwood blvd, or Rotunda, and you'll surely see a few driving around. If not driving, they are always parked all over the city.

The design for the 2010 Mustang was done in late 2005 before the Camaro concept was shown in Jan 2006. It was also done before the Giugiaro Mustang, contrary to what many are saying. The Giugiaro team was asked by Ford design chief Jay Mays to take the 2010 design and exaggerate it beyond what could be done in production, so they could have a concept car, much like was done in the sixties between the 65-66 Mustang and the 67-68:

Mustang is still the leader, and is not following anyone.

Your timeline seems a bit off to me. Ford takes less than 36 months to design a new vehicle.
Anyways, it looks like Ford has worked to improve the aerodynamics a bit of the front clip. The design looks promising. I'd like to see the rest of the car.
IIRC the 2010 design was shown at the same year autoshow the Camaro concept (silver) first popped its head (but it was to a select few suits behind closed doors)
Ford at the time was worried that, even though the design for the 2010 was completed (or being finalized), was that people were going to say Ford ripped off Chevy for certain cues on the car, even though theirs was done prior to the showing of the car.
now have they changed anything since then as they have had time??, I have no idea.
But seeing as how LOTS of people not in the know (just regular joe) see the camaro and ask if its a mustang (just because of its shape/design) although they may not like it, its easily to get the 2 mixed up if you know next to nothing about cars (like MOST people on the road today)

I like the idea of a big pony in the grill even though I can see why others wouldn't.
You can count me in on the 3.5 or 3.7L V6 Mustang. Possibly the factory twin turbo setup.
Thats the one I am waiting for!
Should be able to get that to 800RWHP no problem with some aftermarket wastegates.
I just hope you V8 guys totally ignore the V6 and V6 Twin Turbo. So they don't force the price up too much.
The 5.0L motor should be pretty good. Don't bother with the V6 please.

You'll more than likely only see it in a SE.
And if you saw the 5.0EcoBeast on tap, you'd forget all about the V6 ecoboost
