Is that the primer that is showing, or a light colored scuff mark?

I used this stuff to remove all of the nicks and scratches from my hood. It might be worth a try if you can find some. Obviously, it can't magically replace paint so if primer's showing then, like RBB said, it's a fender paint job.
I had a knick in the paint and dent when I picked it up from the dealership (looked like someone hit it with a hole punch). Right in the crease above the rear wheel where the fender goes up around the quarter window. Stealership paid $500 to get it fixed, and I cant tell. Absolutely no visible dent, color is perfect, metal flake is perfect, they even matched the factory orange peel. I spent a good solid 5 minutes looking at it from every angle, and I cant tell.
In other words, go talk to a body shop.

Thanks a bunch guys! Well upon VERY Close inspection, and working with it last night it appears to be more of a Paint transfer than a scratch. I was able to get a Lot of it out by 'God Forbid' Very carefully using my fingernail, but I'd rather not continue working it like that, and Polishing compound dosen't seem to work......Sooo, next question is what product....Here's a New pic...
If it's just surface, you might want to try wet sanding it vey gently with 2000 grit paper and then buff it out with a good 3M compound and buffer. This has done wonder in the past for me.
