Arrived late last night at my dealer about 70 miles away. Picked it up this afternoon. The car was perfect, and in addition to getting it at invoice with a great trade-in figure, I got the $750 and $500 rebates that weren't in effect when I ordered the car.

Had intended to drop the top after we left and do a lot of photos on the very scenic ride home, but the bottom dropped out just as we left, and it rained all the way. Got just this one photo of it in front of the dealership,where I had pulled it alongside the Vette to transfer all the guns, ammo, knives, and miscellaneous other stuff we all carry in our cars. I'll get better photos and post them when the weather clears (I'll also change my avatar).

The dealership really hated to turn my 5.0 loose, since it is the very first one they have gotten.

For anyone who doesn't think the 5.0 automatic is fast enough, I can personally assure you that you won't feel wanting for performance, even if you just got out of a C6. This thing is scary fast, especially on rainy mountain roads.

The Autos do run 12.7 Quarters so if their not quite to C6 LS3 level they still are not exactly chopped liver.

My son and his family took me and the wife out for a Father's Day breakfast this morning. I wanted him and his wife to drive the new Stang, so I drove his new SHO with the granddaughter and my wife. He followed in the Stang, and no matter what one feels about the 'add-on' hood scoop, watching that car in your rear view mirror is awesome ! That big scoop, sitting on the already bulging OEM hood, makes it look like you are being followed by some type of mean drag machine.
