Hi rowenich,
My name is Deysha from Ford Customer Service. Here are the steps for your MyColor: Note: Headlamps or parking lamps must be on to set up colors.
To choose colors for the gauges, halo color or ambient lighting do the following:
1. Press SETUP to reach the GAUGE COLOR, AMBIENT COLOR, or HALO COLOR menu.
2. Press RESET to scroll through the following color options:
•ICE BLUE •BLUE
•WHITE •ORANGE
•GREEN •RED
•PURPLE •MYCOLOR 1, 2, 3 (See HOLD RESET TO SET MY COLOR 1, 2, 3 following to save personalizedcolor combinations).
This info can be found on page 22 in your owner manual.

For my 08 model I have been running full blue (R1 G1 B5) ever since I got my car. I got bored and formulated an ice blue (R1 G5 B5) that looks nice which matches the look in our 2010 Fusion. ... You can play with G & B and get slight variations of the ice blue.
Since I formulated the ice blue I decided to swap out the regular blue LED's I was using for ambient lighting with cyan colored ones. One of these days I am going to get around to changing out all the slime green switch backlighting for cyan as well.
If I had a 2010+ car I would not even care to have My Color since I like the ice blue and favor blue colors over any others for the gauge lighting.

so let me get this straight, you can set the dials to one color, the "halo" (not sure what that is) to another color and ambient lighting to another and have 3 different colors in your car at one time?? i never had that in any of my cars and i have the basic in the 2006. sorry if i sound stupid, but when you never had you never knew...

Here's my setup. Ambient lighting is blue. Gauges are orange with blue halo. MyColor1 is bright yellow that I use sometimes, but not for the gauges or halo (it's not as bright and doesn't look good).
Red ambient lighting looks good, but I'm saving it for when I'm out on a romantic date with my girlfriend...lol. The radio dash color is stuck on Ice Blue. I wish I could change it, but oh well.
