Hey guys, been having some issues with my 13 GT. Whenever I shift from 4-5 or 6-5 there is a very loud grinding sound, but It still goes into 5th smoothly, just sounds awful. But if I go from 4-5 and wait till my rpms drop It will go in like butter. I had one of my buddies drive it too to make sure it wasn't just a driver issue. I think its a synchro but I am not sure.


Also, I have the MPP gold extended warranty and it states "all internal lubricated parts within the transmission case", do you think my issue would be covered?

It sounds like a synchronizer may be going bad. It should be covered under the warranty definition you provided.
