5th gear grind

I just got a GT after totaling my v6. Its awesome but i have been having an increasing amount of grind from 4th to 5th and its getting harder to get it into reverse. The clutch is a little burnt but i have no problems up until 5th gear. Do i need a new clutch or am i looking at a syncro problem?

When it's in 5th and you floor it do the rpms rise too fast, as if not in gear almost?

I heard when a clutch is about to go you notice it more in the higher gears.

Could be a synchro/blocker ring problem. If your clutch is worn, clutch it first and go from there.
