MPG enhancements (driving style)

Ive been averaging 22.3 indicated (23.3 actual) w/ normal driving 15% city/85 % highway.
I decided to try coasting down the hills on the interstate and in town where possible. indicated MPG went up to 25.5 MPG and actual was 27.0 MPG..
It is a pain to do this but it was pretty interesting to watch the MPG go up when coasting.

Just thought i would share....

Short shifting(2000 rpm max), super soft throttle application, keeping the rpm as low as possible and running in as high a gear as possible are the real keys to best fuel economy.

Damm bottom out at 18?!?!? If I slightly get on the car my avg MPG is about 14 and that's all city and babying it 85% of the time. If I'm always on it I'm down at 10.5

You should do the Fred Flintstone mod. Easier on the hands.
