I just finished up washing my car and my sisters car. Her interior feels like its made of higher quality materials and a tad finer attention to detail. Her's is a 2011 Kia Optima, and mine is a 2011 Mustang GT/CS.
Honestly, Fords interior really isn't that great. it's not on these current S197 mustangs at least. Still better than the current Camaro interior.

I'm not big on interiors, but I definitely wouldn't want my 100K car to look like the inside of a Tonka toy hahaha

True... But for me, I *think* ford interiors are far better than GM in terms of looks and quality and feel. And you're right, that's not even saying much. Meaning ford interiors are not even THAT good. But if I'm saying that the ford interiors aren't even that good, what does that tell you about what I think of GM interiors? Lol. They're absolutely horrible.

I think you both make a good point. I've done a lot of work on Vettes and Camaros (I work in the auto industry). I was never a fan of Camaro interior, but I do like the Vettes. All I really cared about was the cluster and the shifter anyway.
But let's be honest, the best thing about driving these cars (Mustang too) is not the fact the interior is nice or plush, it's the performance, the mechanical feel, the handling and the noises it makes when you press the go pedal.
If I was very concerned about the interior I'd be driving a BMW, a Lexus or a Cadillac. American muscle was never really about plush interior, it was about pure, unadulterated MUSCLE.

I'm anti Corvette. There I said it.
Probably because the only people I have ever seen driving them are mid life crisis, white-haired old fat men driving down the local University campus strip and revving at the little girls.
Top down at that. Yuck.

I'll take the looks of a classic 60's Vette over the new designs any day... Not that I could afford either. I don't care if the new Vettes are faster. The old ones are much cooler.

A '67 Stingray? only Chevy I'd ever own. And only if someone gave me one because I'd never spend my own money on a GM product. Ever.
