Man, I Really Wish the Rear of the 2010 Would be Different
Either way, your inability to utilize proper punctuation substantially tarnishes any credence there may have been to your penchant for crying foul about other members' lack of grammatical prowess.
You know... if the black plastic at the bottom of the bumper was flush and did not stick out further, it would be fine. The black plastic sticking out as the trailing edge is what looks screwy.
This is the problem as many cars have this and you barely know its there. They could have made it flow better and it be less dramatic.
Does Ford pay you by the hour or by the post to defend the 2010 Mustang so vehemntly? Because I will vouch for you my friend, they are definitely getting their moneys worth.
I agree.. 100% ugly jap car rear
I've been saying the same thing all along, but some of these guys don't want to hear that! LOL.
My coworker looked over my shoulder at a picture I was viewing of the 2010 Stang and he asked me if it was the new Nissan Altima. I said, "no, it's the 2010 Mustang!" and he told me it looked like a Japanese car from the back.

I WISH
LOL, I Wish! I Just Love the Car, I Love Cars in General. I wanted to be a designer when I was younger, Especially to Design for Ford, as I thought they had the Best Design Department in America at that time, so I guess I just argue points I would argue defending the design as if it were mine. I see where the designers were going, and what they were thinking in the design and details of the 2010. I guess I look at it differently for that reason.
In general I think Car Design has become Boring and Plain in the last few years. I'm tired of seeing this Retro Craze. It shows we are becoming Stagnate, and Complacent. Tending to be Nostalgic for things of the Past instead of Hungry for Something New and Exciting. Part of being a designer is that you have to get into the heads and mindset of the consumer. You have to Really Understand them and try to envision what they want 5 or 10 years from now.
Good Design Stirs Up Controversy, I tend to find that many cars I Initially Hate, I end up Tending to Like. But there are those few that as soon as I see Them I know they Got Just Right, at least in My Mind. Believe Me I've been running Designs through My head for the replacement of the 2010 already, so it too will be Old News to me Quickly. As soon as I get them down on Paper I will Post them, but for now I'm Really Excited About The Future for a Change!
AGREED!...
People are getting what they wanted. The didnt want such a square looking rear end so ford rounded it off and added more styling. I guess you just cant please some people. I for one think the rear goes well with this car.
People have asked ford to change things with this car but yet people cant accept the change. Dont ask for things to be changed if your just going to bash it.

The '05-'09 has proven a tough act to follow as was the '65-66 which had a clean and pure design. The '67 was nice but as Lee Iacocca once said after seeing the 1967, " it turned into a fat pig."
Don't flame, I liked the '67, but not as much as the '65-'66.
+1. That's exactly the point for me, too. It's not (IMO, folks - don't respond with the flamethrowers, please) that the styling is so horrendous per se, but that the "diffuser" protrudes so much that it detracts from the overall styling of the rear. A better-blended piece, I think, would look a lot better - and would have generated a lot less heated debate.

It's even hard to type like that . . .
I'm sure you worked on that for at least an hour. The ironic thing here is that it was not my inability that prevented me from including a period at the end of the sentence; it was simply my choice. Thanks for playing! Go get yourself a cookie and a glass of warm milk.
Now that I think about it, you might have a problem in that area yourself, judging by your statement.
