How can they run 12.7 while hitting the brakes? Did they remove all traction control? How fast is a 2011 GT supposed to run in the first place?

With the Track Pack, the GT needs to shift three times before 60. Has anyone seen numbers without the 3.73 axle ratio? Seems like it might eliminate one shift, reducing 0-60 times. The car's somewhat traction limited anyway, so the hole shot that the taller gears provides might not make that much difference.

After further research, I concur with the reflection idea. The 3rd brake light did not come on. Again, I think whatever drama we are seeing in this video is not MT cheating for the Stang. Its producing a video (movie) for entertainment value. Having the 2 cars exchanging the lead makes for a good video. The times in this article are consistent for both cars so I'm not surprised to see a photo finish.
