Definitely a job you can do yourself. If you have even the most basic wrenching skills, tools and ability to follow directions, it's a piece of cake. I did my springs and PHB in less than an hour. All I needed was a spring compressor, which I bought. But Autozone and the like will loan it to you.

About a month later, I got my struts and shocks. Did the install in about 45 minutes. This includes going with the GT500 upper strut mounts, which are required when lowering the 11+ Mustang's. The stock upper mounts will not work with aftermarket struts. Also, camber bolts are needed to get the front end aligned after the struts are installed. Or you can buy $350 camber plates.

I have an air compressor and all associated tools. So it made the job go faster. But even with basic hand tools, it's easily done. I would be more than happy to assist if someone is near me. Otherwise, I would be happy to give my Phone # out in case someone gets stuck in the middle of the install.

I should have said, "This includes going with the GT500 upper strut mounts, which are required when going with after-market struts." You can lower the car, swap out just the springs, without needing the GT500 upper mounts.

what are people using for Springs for Drag Race set ups? i want the lowered look, but still want the weight transfer....
