My "long durations" would be however long it takes to accelerate the motor from ~7k to ~7.3k. I have taken risks like this before, so won't be anything new.
Thanks for you posts.

as a road racer I am very concerned about sustained high RPM and also want to warn others so that they know

Unless Steeda wants to hook me up better. (Even with a contact down there I have a hard time even getting my phone calls returned about buying stuff retail! Left a bad taste in my mouth)

To say the car has been transformed is an understatement. I actually got to drive it yesterday and was able to get the tires to squeak going into 4th!

Steeda's CAI is looking pretty stout with a 40rwhp gain with tune.

Is Roush designing a new CAI or are they using this one(http://store.roushperformance.com/detail.aspx?ID=1287) that fits 2010 & 2011 and only replaces the airbox and not the intake.
Steeda's CAI is looking pretty stout with a 40rwhp gain with tune.

Even getting refered to someone specific in the Steeda Office by a racer that is SPONSORED AND FEATURED by Steeda I couldn't get my calls returned, so I am hesitant to approach Steeda.
Roush on the other hand called me about their CAI, always returns my calls, keeps their appointments and always shows true class in all my dealings with them. HP is not the only factor. Customer service matters.

Stinger,
I read on another forum that these latest pulls were made on a dyno that is only two weeks old. That's a different dyno than the one used for the stock pulls, correct?
My point is that there can be a variance between two dynos. I know that I have personally observed a 13hp/10tq difference between two different dynojets(same model) on the same day.

Shaun, were the new baseline numbers (390hp) done with the OEM tune loaded back into the car?

Sounds good, you can't go wrong with Roush. But if you ever wanna deal with Steeda go through Gus on here. He answers PMs as soon as he logs on
