Leaning more and more to a stealthed/blackout look.
Ok, so I already have my 2012 GT on order, black w/charcoal interior. Have been going back and forth on changing the interior to a red and going with red stripes, or going fully blacked out with satin black OTT stripes instead. I know the contrast of black w/red would look good, but I can't get the image of a completely blacked out Stang out of my head... I still have plenty of time to change my order if I decide on the black/red combo instead so I just thought I'd see what you all had for opinions.

Yea, pretty sure it would be the Lava interior. Being military and because of that an out of state driver pretty much everywhere I go I'm not too sure how much I actually want to stand out. I got pulled over enough in Oregon with my Washington plates rental, and that was a Cobalt.

Yea, thanks for the idea. I just found a pic of the lava red interior and that would look awesome in an all black car.... decisions decisions... lol

I think it really depends on what you want out of the car and your own personal preferences.
If you want to get into car shows and such I'd stray away from the stealth look. These cars don't really show very well, and the look has been around long enough now that it's not entirely fresh and may be aging in the eyes of show voters.
If the car is your own personal enjoyment and nothing else obviously the stripe will be subjective. The matte stripes will be less flashy than the red, so if you're worried about being noticed too much, that might be something to think about.
I'm a fan of dark myself, having owned 3 black mustangs of the 5 I have owned, including my current '11. However when you start going black on black on black (mixed with a bit of black) you've REALLY got to keep that car clean. Otherwise it just looks like a mess in my opinion.
At any rate, the nice thing about decals is that they can be removed if your eye changes.
Oh and my vote, regardless of stripe is for the porno-red interior!
