Latest reason for the hold on GT's/Rumours on the Holds/Update on the Holds/Holds
Irony: a useless post whining about an apparently useless thread.
Respectfully, Pete, you and Stangfoeva should get a room somewhere. This was NEW information. Not necessarily revolutionary in nature. I know most people here don't care about the V6 Mustang but I have been very curious how this "all 5.0's are on hold" has managed to delay my delivery.
Some folks here have been very good about posting information and corroborating information. Others just fail to add any value to the threads they don't like and simply whine about them.
If you don't like country music, change the station. If you don't like TV sitcoms, change the station. If you don't like "hold threads", don't read them.

All cars built before 5/22 are test cars that have fallin or are falling apart. All cars after that until 6/02 have 50% less problems and 5 more hp.........all cars built 6/3 and after have 10% of the problems, 20 more hp and the paint looks ten times better.

Eh, personally I'd be happy with a sticky in this section outlining basic grammar and proper word usage.
As in, when to properly use YOUR and YOU'RE, or THEIR, THERE and THEY'RE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you can spam the general section, I can spam your threads. Just sayin
As you guys know, last week I picked up my 5.0 MT6 GT Prem.
Was something broke and then fixed? Maybe it didn't get fixed, maybe my a-pillar is missing and I just haven't noticed.
All kidding aside, I really don't know what to think!
Just my guess, but I still think it is a shipping problem.
Best of luck to those that are still waiting!

Except there ARE cars being produced and released. A-pillar trim is common to ALL Mustangs. Clearly some Mustangs are being shipped.
I'm not saying there isn't an a-pillar trim problem -- I believe Evo Tech. What I'm saying is if it IS the a-pillar trim, why just my V6? It would be ALL V6's and ALL 5.0's. And all Shelbys. So, I don't think that's the common component. I'm still leaning toward the manual transmission/clutch since so few of those seem to be getting delivered.
Plus I have the stone interior and I'm pretty sure all GT's don't have the stone interior. . .

Why do you state it is just your car? others are in the same boat as you.
think about how parts are made, in batches. So it could be a batch of these pillar's were bad and hence waiting on the next batch to arrive which only affected those cars produced on that particular run.

V6's are in the minority here. If I had a GT I wouldn't be as curious as I KNOW they're mostly on hold. But there hasn't been a lot of discussion on the V6's.
Todd, I didn't state that. The mysterious "Ford rep" stated that: "Your car has a common component with the GTs that has put it on hold." (Mostly paraphrased through the salesman.)

And a stack of job applications.

(Yes, I know it's a tough economy and it SUCKS big time right now for those without a job.)
