More Ford CS.

In a call last week, the barely post-teen female said that since my ETA was two weeks past due, she would refer my case to her superior, and I should expect a response within five business days about the status of my car.

Got an e-mail today.

In an e-mail laced with poor grammar, poor punctuation, poor capitalization, etc., I was informed that my Mustang GET, yes.............my Mustang GET was being held for final inspections, and when it cleared final inspections, it would be shipped.

The next time I see someone on here tell us that they had called Ford CS and CS told them blah, blah, blah and they act like it's important information, I'm coming through their keyboard.

Oh........when I go into the dealer to check status, guess who the sales manager calls........THE SAME FORD CS LINE I CALL. And he acts like he's taking me into the bowels of the beast, what a freaking nimrod!!

AAAAnd, she thought you must really be excited.
Wait a sec... I thought I was special.

That's nearly exactly the experience I've had. EVERY TIME.

Although the people I've spoken with have been adults.

For people who wish to vent their frustration with the lack of information. I suggest that you post your concern in this BlueOvalForum. It's for open letters to Ford management. If everyone starts a thread for their personal concern then perhaps the magnitude of the problem will become apparent.

I just heard that the hold is because of the lack of power the 5.0 is producing. Most are only putting out 250 rwhp. Those who have received there GT will get a recall letter as the engines will have to be swapped. Look for your car to be tied up for several wks.

Really? You're just going to drop a bomb like that with no supporting evidence whatsoever, and completely ignoring the fact that many people who've gotten their cars and tested them have produced fairly consistent results?

Well....I did say post-teen. That's sorta adult.

Another thing.......smokers tend to have 'husky' sounding voices.

Yes i had my auto 5.0 dyno tested today and it was making 244 rwhp and 286 lbs of torque. Very disappointed. Should have kept my 08!

Very good suggestion.

But it won't stop the posts here. Nice try though.

On the contrary. I just hacked the Pentagon database and I found out that the real reason the 5.0s are on hold is because they have all been teleported to Septimus Prime to combat the vile green alien menace and prevent the conquest of Earth.

Those Mustangs are our last hope.

P.S. I e-mailed Obama asking why they had to use Mustangs when they could have just used Camaros without all this corporate hassle. His response was "And trust the freedom of the American people to a product of government contractors? Hell no."

P.P.S. Those 17 cars scrapped were casualties.

P.P.P.S. The ones you see in holding lots are holograms.

P.P.P.P.S. No the survivors won't become special editions. This officially never happened. However, if you find your HID's vaporizing the car in front of you when you turn them on, you should contact your dealer about having them replaced immediately, as this is a production error which may adversely affect your gas mileage, horsepower, and battery life.

P.P.P.P.P.S. Okay I'll stop now.

lol. this is funny stuff. watching ppl panic and/or stress over waiting a few weeks when they have transportation, have good jobs, can afford a new car, and have a generally good life.

there are ppl out there MUCH less fortunate. take a chill pill guys. have a deep breath and put things in prespective please. youll soon realize worrying is not only counterproductive its a little bit selfish.

just my humble opinion. take it as you may.

Their engineers, assembly line workers and some corporate employees lurk on forums and go to some off-roading events... on occasion they will post on forums about part/commodities shortages.

Delivered Nov 19, 2004

It seems to me it would be easier/faster to have the dealers do the fix than continue to build the cars and add to the already swamped lot of cars needing QC.

The dealer could do the fix during the PDI.

And for the clutch issue, has anyone had similar issues w/ 2005-09, 2010's, any GT500's???
