Thanks Tony----

I was there two weeks ago - drove the black GT w/o spoiler. They offered me invoice less holdback, but I didn't pull the trigger. Now that May is over, though...

Thanks - this is correct as per Ford's media website. We have actually have a different number on the The Mach 1 Registry site for the peak RPM and the '325' was my mistake.

In short, the 2011 GT will accelerate faster from 1000 rpm, 4000 rpm, or any other rpm over the 03/04 Mach 1.
Yep - that's what an additional 100hp and 70lb-ft of torque will do. However, that "feel" might be experienced more by some in the SN-95 car because of its chassis stiffness and suspension setting as compared the S197 car.

FOUL! They clearly can be compared because they are both Mustangs

To each their own.
Of course! This reminds me of my brother's 1988 C4 Corvette. That car "feels fast" low in the RPM range because of the massive amount of torque those tuned-port injection engines made. If you measured straight-line acceleration, it would be a different story.

And that is all that matters!

ok guys-----

I just went thru the full tank of gas that dealer put in when i purchased it (reagular 87 octane)

So as of today my computer AVG MPG read is 14.0 (been babying it as it is breaking in and opening up)

So today i got it down to 5 miles before empty and filled it up with 93 octane, will notice and feel difference in performance?--------

quick question about the traction control-----

Is it better for me to shut it off, or have it in sport mode? also sometimes its tricky for me to get it into sports mode, any advice?----

Also----in regards to synch, my ipod is 80 GB----and loaded, when i try to install it, it says "INDEXING....." for like 3 seconds and then stops and goes back to main menu----

Any help or input wld be GREATLY appreciated

Thanks in advance and drive safely!

I have an 80GB iPod plugged into mine as well. It takes quite a while to index. When done mine said not all files could be indexed. If you go out to the SYNCMYRIDE website you will find a Microsoft Utility you can run that will fix the indexing problem.

What type of iPod is it? 80gig doesn't really narrow it down. Clickwheel, Touch, Classic, Video? If it's one of the first few gens, I am not sure they work well with any system like Sync, or plug and play iPod integration. Ford's site should be able to show that info too. Sorry I'm not more help.

From a stop (foot on brake), press the traction control button twice. I wouldn't disable TC completely.

My 60gb video never fully Synced with my dad's 08 Fusion. I think with too many songs it only does so many before stopping. I had over 10,000 songs on it, so I can see it being a problem requesting a certain song when the computer has to search through them all...
