Just ordered UPR's new design catch can.

Since I think UPR's new design oil catch can looks interesting in design, I decided I'm going to try it out on my 14 GT. Plus they are having a 14% off sale going on right now so I figured I would save some money as well. Here is what I ordered:
http://www.uprproducts.com/mustang-b...tor-15-sc.html

I called UPR before ordering and even though it says it is for the 2015 GT, they said they actually had it on a 2013 GT in the early testing stages and when the 15 came out, saw that it would work on it as well with no changes. They still have not added this can under the 2011-14 section. I will be curious to see if it works as good as claimed.

Oh man. That's a big can to be only supported by the 2 PCV valves. I'd be worried about this thing breaking when the engine is moving around during operation.

You will have to let us know how it works! Looks like a good catching design.

You can't go wrong with the Bob's. It's what I'm running right now. I'm only trying the UPR out because I'm curious how effectively their new system is going to work. If I like how it performs, I will keep it on my car and put the Bob's on my fiancee's 07 GT that is currently running the original design UPR can.

dave07,
I'm not too crazy about the fact that the can is not hard mounted to something but from the youtube video I watch for this can, it sits on top of the radiator hose so it's being supported by that. Time will tell if it's a problem.

I will post some pictures of the inside of this thing when I get it so everyone can get some closeup pictures of the different pieces that make up the filtering system.

I received the new design UPR can today. I posted a thread and pictures here so I don't have to do this on every forum.

Looks good but i would hate for it 'rub' a hole on your radiator hose

That is one thing that is a slight concern but the radiator hose does have that mesh like covering on it which will probably help protect it.

Here is a youtube video that helps explain how this new design can works.

It probably won't be until early April or so before I even drive the car much since I have it put up for the winter so it may be a little while before I have any info on how well the can works compared to the Bob's can that I'm currently using.

In my sketch the red arrow is the direction of the airflow. Name: Su3R9dC.jpg

Is this the correct airflow path (generally speaking)?

Please note the sketch was done on my Galaxy S4 with my fat fingers and 5 beers in me
