Ipod Device
Hi Everyone,
Could use some help. Just bought an Apple Nano 7th Generation. Cannot get it to play in the car (2011 5.0 GT). I used to have the ipod shuffle and it worked just fine when connected with an aux cable.
Also, it is blue tooth capable. What does this mean exactly? does it mean it will work like my phone (no aux cable) and able to control the device thru the steering wheel?
Thanks

[QUOTE=TheDivaDanielle;6745018]yeah, turn it's bluetooth on and just pair it that way.
That's how I always use my Nexus 5.[/QUOTE
I don't know where the sync part of my manual is. Would you be able to jot down those instructions? Hope that is not too much to ask. Thank you soooo much.

You'll find a list of compatible devices here: http://support.ford.com/sync-technol...atibility-sync It looks like that iPod hasn't been tested yet. I recommend connecting via USB. What happens when you attempt to connect?

Try the USB. USB connect always works for me. I have the iphone5s. However, bluetooth only works for phone calls. None of the sync voice commands work for playing music/picking artist or track. I get "this feature is unavailable with this bluetooth device." Annoying. Tried everything and just gave up. So I just use the cable.
