Saleen Frost Touch Panoramic Glass...
I was reading an article on the Saleen 30th Anniversary Mustang in Mustang Monthly, and noticed a line about the "Frost Touch Glass."
IIRC, the panoramic roof first appeared on a Saleen (and then Ford started offering it as an option). I love my clear roof, but it would be cool to have the glass be a bit clearer when clear and I'd like to lose the pull screen (which I almost never use).
I wonder if Saleen will make the Frost Touch glass available for purchase separately?

The article doesn't give much for details on this. The perfect glass roof would be electronically adjustable with several steps between fully opaque and fully transparent. Really sweet would be if it could automatically darken when the car is off and the interior temperature gets higher than a certain point.

From what I know in having used this type of smart glass before is that even in mass production it would probably cost at least $2k more above and beyond the plain glass roof.

I'm assuming the cost would be significantly above the regular glass roof (my company owns Transitions- the eyeglass lenses that change in the sun- and although it would be possible to produce electrochromatic lenses that change at a touch the cost is beyond prohibitive).
I've heard Saleen was also working on having the glass roof slide back over the back window...
