Your Mustang is looking great!!! I'm still waiting for C&L to release their c.a.i. for the V-6 (pre-ordered) in the next week or two and waiting for 'anyone' to make shorty headers also . I know shorty headers will only add 5 or 10 horsepower but they look so much better in the engine bay. I hope someone will make some by around next summer.

Long tubes and a full exhaust may get you some HP.

With LTs, I'd deal with having to tighten them. I need to do the locking header bolts, but not until I get my new heads and intakes. Shorties though, are just not worth it. I only did them because one of my factory manifolds cracked. I've had to retighten them every couple of months (and I got JBAs, one of the only CA smog legal header kits for the SN95 V6) and replace the gaskets once. They're a PITA, and I have another leak from one bolt that is starting to strip the head because of the insanely awkward angle to reach it. Ugh!
