I messed with the wrong car...and it killed my 5.0
A friend of mine (in another state) has one, modified by replacing the supercharger with twin turbos. Last I checked he's dynoed @ over 900 RWHP on pump gas and WELL over 1000 RWHP on racing fuel. He has a video posted to his site where he ran the standing mile with a trap speed of 221.x mph. Insane...

Another thing about cars like that is that they keep on pulling. Were you to chase one to your top speed, you would see them continue to pull away. Cars like the ZR-1 are 200 + speedsters. Trying to keep up with that in a Mustang just gets one laughed at. We just are not aerodynamic enough.
