I really wouldn't worry about it, my car was built two weeks sooner and it only finally shipped out last Tuesday. You still haven't done worse than me, let alone half the other buyers and like someone said it's not even the end of the month yet. In the grand scheme of things your car wasn't ordered too long ago, Joker, nor was it built too long ago, compared to a lot of orders. The delays may just be due to the transportation queue, putting your car off until relatively later. I mean really they said they were trying to do things in order and have it done by the end of the month, that implies some cars won't get shipped until closer to the end of the month. It's probably just that it happened to be you. Dunno about Kahdir though, but his car got built relatively late for some reason.
It might be more useful to stress over financing. I should have looked into this better than I did and sooner, and right now I'm not sure I'll even be able to pick up my car. Why? "Insufficient Credit History."

When my wife bought her first Mustang they wanted to lease it to her. The dealership said she's young and has too little credit history. She said if it comes down to paying rent or making the car payment, she will sleep in the car before defaulting on the loan. She never had to sleep in it and never missed a payment.

very common note found on all ford vehicles. Not to worry. They pick vehicles at random as they come of the line, i would doubt this would cause any shipping delays. To Jokestars, my car was shipped offsite for a day then returned, and was shipped offsite a second time for about a week and then shipped to dealership as soon as it returned. I hope your car arrives soon, Mine arrived at the dealership within 36 hours of being returned from offsite.

Many years ago I bought a car that a salesman drove that had 6000 miles on it. I was able to get a very good deal and the car was in fantastic condition. It was one of those weird situations where I bought a "new" car with so many miles. Best part is I owned the car for 16 years, put 245,000 miles on it, no major repairs with original motor and transmission. I traded it in to buy my 2005 Mustang. Maybe I was lucky? If you take care of the car, you should have no worries. I always felt if a problem exists, it happens in the first 1000 miles or so. My 85 Chevy that I bought new with 7 miles on it had a transmission go in 3000 miles, new one put in, no issues ever again. You just never know?
