I felt like i was going to puke!
I know my V6 is no where near as fast as the 5.0, but I had a friend say the same thing about even my car. She looked like she was on a roller coaster as I accelerated and she said that even though she knew it was coming, she still couldn't control how she felt. I know she's probably full of crap on this, but she said she's rode in Corvette's before and they didn't feel like that.
I think it's how these new Mustangs just have such balanced pull throughout the rep range that prolongs this feel of acceleration and gives it less of a seat in the pants feeling and more of a riding on a fast roller coaster feeling.

I made the mistake of scaring my 10-yr-old girl in my first couple of days with my car, with her in the front passenger seat - I just couldn't let go of 2nd gear and HAD to take it all the way to redline. Wow, it was SO intense that it scared he and so now my girls are lukewarm about my car.
On top of all that, nobody wants to ride with me any more b/c I have the top down (it pretty much STAYS down unless it's over 98 degrees).
Oh well, the silver lining is my 7-yr-old said it was "pretty cool" that we have the Stang. So that's something I guess.

roller coaster, puke, not in my car! When I first got it I drove the crap out of her, gave myself whiplash. I took the wifey for a ride a few days later, her exact words "If you ever drive like that with me in the car again I am going to sell it" Is this grounds for divorce?
I took one friend for a ride in my spouse's Camaro, and later when my Mustang was delivered, she flat refused to ride with me ever. Oh, she drives a red Hemi Charger... 25mph. Sigh.
Fortunately, my spouse and I agree that driving like a psycho is fun. Now, where did I put my whiplash collar?

It's hilarious even in my 05 watching my wifes nephew get slammed back into the booster after I floor it... he tries to move. But nothing happens.
