I originally posted this in the thread for the Teaser Pic's, but Decided to move it over here. I don't know if anyone else noticed this. What do you guys think?
This is something I have been thinking about for quite a while. Does Anyone Recognize This Shape? It seems that the Design Team has had a Theme Throughout the design process. I love the attention to detail that has gone into the design of the 2010!

This also just occured to me. Looking through the windshield of the 2010 This would be the shape you would see because of the shape of the Hood's Power Dome.

It's not a power dome. It's a reshaped hood to give the illusion of a power dome. Corners are lower. The center height of the hoods are the same.

So you won't see any difference... except the sides are going to disappear...
Oh and I dunno if they're doing something like that or not, re: patterns, but it's kinda keen if they are.

I Re-edited the Shapes that I drew to try to get them closer to the actual shapes of the Dash Panel, and Windshield as I could Imagine, using all of the spy pic's and reveals.

That first outline looks like the grill shape of the Plymouths from the lat '60's early '70's, like this one.

That is a good catch jayguy, I hadn't thought about that. It is still a very Iconic Mustang shape as well. It's Similar in outline to the dash of Mustangs from 64-68. I just love how the designers picked that shape up and incorporated it into other aspects of the design, like the tail light panel, and how the mirrors echo the shape of the tail lights as well.

Yeah, it's a power dome in looks, and they used the word, but to me... well... a power dome is a Stormin' Norman type hood with 6 inches of extra height to it. Maybe I have the wrong idea. Still, it looks spiffy. Wonder how hard it'd be to retrofit to a 2006...

There Is A Definite THEME
I Was Right!!! The Designers were using a Theme throughout the car. Look at the shape of the Door Panel, Insert/Arm Rest/Map Pocket, And the Tail Light Right Next To It!
