Hurst 2011 5.0 short shifter

I have a 2011 5.0 (manual). I've been asked by my local mustang auto shop to publicize my car on 5.0 magazine. I will pay whole sale for the short shifter ($179). This is my daily driver to & from work. I like the idea of my name coming out on the magazine. But it seems like a waste of money since I don't take my car to the track yet alone drag race it. Should I pay up, or pass??

If you plan on getting a short shifter anyway, then go for it. Otherwise, I'd say it's just a waste. But if you really like attention, then there's your opportunity.
