How do you people without the glass roof do it?

My husband has a Mini with the double sunroof, and I hate it because the sun is always in my eyes even with sunglasses.
As others have noted, it's not something you find in dealer stock, so there wasn't one sitting around to change my mind. My dealer told me that they had ordered one with the glass roof, and it sat on the lot for months before they sold it, and they aren't ordering any more because of that.
