Hello.
I live in Chile, I got my 2014 Mustang 5.0. The GPS of this car is only loaded with maps of USA, I´d like to know if there is a way to load maps from differents areas. My dealer said it is impossible.

Click here: FordService; it's the Ford customer care service rep on this site (Deysha). Then select "send a private message to FordService" under the drop down arrow labeled " Send Message".

Explain what you need. If anyone can help, Deysha can.

 

The maps actually come from another company, used to be called NavTeq, but I think they changed their name. They would be the ones to supply maps for other regions of the world outside North America. I think I recall someone in Europe looking for the same thing and I suspect as the 2015 will be ,arketed there that they may have maps available soon.

Congrats and welcome to the forum! Mi nombre es Deysha con Ford Service. Beargap is correct; we have a separate company who provides our maps. You can contact our supplier HERE (formerly NavTeq) online at www.here.com or by calling 1-866-462-8837 and ask if they have any compatible maps for Chile.

Welcome to the forums Jorge! I live in NY, but was born in (and adopted from!) Santiago. I upgraded last year from an 06 Torch Red V6 to a 13 GT in black.

 

How come they don't list Ford as a manufacturer?

• Chrysler
• Dodge
• Holden
• Jeep
• Mitsubishi
• Subaru
• Nissan
• Suzuki

• My manufacturer is not listed

Thank you to every one, I am contacting the provider, but according I saw in the website, they don´t have the map of south america for Mustangs.

Hi Fawls,

After clicking on “Shop,” you click on “Get the latest map for your navigation system” it sends you to http://allthingsnav.navigation.com/. Here where it says “AUTOMOTIVE Got the latest HERE maps?” is a dropdown and all of the manufacturers are there, including us “Ford.”

Nada cuesta preguntarles, navotavo.
