And to top it off, I've been slingin vintage Hagstrom "Swede's" on my left shoulder for almost 40 years. While their claim to fame was the "fastest neck on the planet", they're also the heaviest Les Paul style guitar on the planet.
Ford just has this thing wound up tighter than an 8 day clock...
Or tighter than Saddam Hussein sitting in his spider hole hiding from the Allied Troops...
Or tighter than the girdle on a minister's wife at an all you can eat pancake breakfast...
Or tighter than a monkey in a pinata on a saturday evening at 6 pm...
Or tighter than a _________

could someone post a picture of it? I don't really think the sn95s seat belts are too bad, the loop holds it pretty well unless you want to move the seat foreword to let someone in that cramped fabric covered shelf they call a rear seat, then it's enough to **** you off, Ha.
My issue is with the cheap arm and it not reaching far enough forward. I have no problem with it once it's on.

oh god, that is horrible, I forgot about that. Usually when that I end up playing with it forever and I try to slide it straight from where it starts at the hole and the buckle is backwards... Why didn't they just put it on the other way?

I don't get it either. I'm 6'1", 215 pounds and have zero problem. My wife is 5'4", 125 pounds and has no problems. I can see why a big guy like in that video has the problem but, other than that??

I'm somewhere between 5'9" and 5'10" and I guess I sit a little closer than most, or more so I just sit upright versus laying back (how it was in my SN95s) now that I have a car with seats that condone proper posture. The arm doesn't even reach the back of the seatback, with my position. It's retarded. My fiancée is 5'2" and with her seating position, it's almost 8-10" behind the seat.

I have the Recaros, and again I'm not complaining about the seatbelt choking me. I'm complaining because the arm is cheap as hell, and apparently you can't just replace the arm (when it DOES break) - $500+ for a new seatbelt from Ford. Just snapped a couple...this is generally where I sit (I detailed my interior so I had to move my seat a bunch to vacuum etc, so it's not exactly where I sit, but pretty close). Clearly the arm doesn't extend far enough; I either have the do the backhand, under arm with my left hand, or REALLY reach around with my right, and the bolsters make it pretty hard to do either one. It's a terrible design. I can live with it, but a harness bar and some 4-point harnesses are in my future. If I'm going to make it inconvenient to buckle my seatbelt, I may as well go all out right?

Yeah you should get the TMI kit I told you about a while back. 03-04 Cobra seat foam for $150, new vinyl Mach 1 style upholstery for $500 (front and rear). Brand new front and rear seats for $650.

You guys have problems too? I thought mine was just user error until it became so frequent haha. Mine twists all the time and is constantly on my shoulder. I sit back pretty far, but then again, I don't have Recaros haha. I'm 6'1" 160lbs.

One solution is to buy a convertible. No seat belt arm and the guide in the quarter trim panel is outboard enough that the belt is nowhere near my neck. In fact, I find the belt falls off my shoulder when I have to turn in the seat to check traffic at certain oddly angled intersections.
