Dude, I am a believer in the clay step...it's amazing what your car feels like right after you run the clay over it. Do a section first, dry it, the feel the difference...you'll be amazed. Like a baby's bum-bum!!

I did it because I saw it somewhere as a good last step...not really sure I needed it though.

I agree on the Quick Detailer. I never use that after the wax. Only to get rid of water spots or dust that's accumulated between washes.

I had done a three step process on my pony and love Meguiar's products. I did not clay my car. I did a compound, polish and wax. I used Meguiar's Ultimate Compound, Polish and Ultimate Synthetic Wax which I guess technically is not a wax and a sealant. Great results from Meguiar's products.

Seriously, no need to spend more money on all those expensive professional products. The Meguiar's products do a great job...you should really try the clay man. You'll be surprised at how much surface crap comes of your car...

I think the quick detailer after a wax is a good step to include. It allows you to go over the car one more time and adds another layer of protection and a bit more shine.
