Frost on the inner side of windshield

During this bitter cold winter, I find that in some cold morning and evening there is frost on the inner side of windshield, sometimes inner side of door windows as well.

Since this is my first vehicle with frame-less doors, I am not sure if it is common for this kind of vehicle. Is there anyone having same experience as I? Any solution?

For now, I just keep a bottle of De-ice in my stang and use it as needed. But the inner side frost is still annoying.

It has to do with the air outside and the air inside your car.
There may be moisture in the car before shutting it off. Try running the A/C a little before you park it. Or,...if you garage it, crack the window, just a bit to let in some outside air.
Good luck!

make sure that you do not have the heat vents set to defrost (windshield) before you shut the car off. you want to make sure the vents are set to floor or dash, never to defrost/windshield.

warm air seeping up thru the defrost vents will condense and freeze as he is expierencing

Gotcha - I guess it's possible.

You’re always welcome to have your dealer check it out to make sure there’s nothing else going on, alfaromeo. Your service manager is in the best position to look into this for you and can check into any warranty, assistance, recalls, or customer satisfaction programs that may apply to your vehicle.

Also, remember most repairs done at a Ford Dealer come with a 24 months/unlimited miles warranty. You can schedule an appointment online here.

Thanks everyone. I will follow your suggestions. I will also mention this to service advisor when I am in my dealer next time.

When you get a chance, clean the inside of your windshield and windows. After a while, moisture starts collecting on your windshield.

At first, your windshield and windows will start fogging up quicker. Then, if enough moisture builds up and temperature get low enough, it will freeze!
