Fog lights on a base 2014
#6
I will need to upgrade the light switch **** right ?

Unless there is another switch, some did not come with them and the previous owner might have added them. I know the harness was a little expensive so they might have gone a different route.

I'm gonna take the car to my mechanic to find out if can use it or fix that button for the fogs also imma buy the upgrade for the switch lights
Do you believe it's better buy the switch directly from Ford or something like that?
thanks for the support

The light switch is 30 bucks and it will give you auto lamps if the wiring is not there for the fogs.
That other pic was the wrong switch, the actual switch looks like this. Disregard the dust on it
You never can tell, light switch might have quit working and they replaced it with the wrong one.

I am guessing with the other mods, that the fog lights were added or moved on this car.

The V6 performance package came with the GT/CS style fogs too. At least, I know for sure the 13 did, and there wasn't too much that changed from 13 to 14 in exterior appearance if memory serves.
If this was the case the switch would be the aforementioned special one, though.
My advice would be to go to a dealer and see if they can scan the VIN and get a spec sheet. Next step if that fails is to order that car's specific switch and see what features it has.
It is possible that the previous owner added an aftermarket kit and wasn't ever able to get it to work.

Yup this is what my '14 has in it. If it is different, they probably got the wrong one on replacement as stated. Or was this car V6 with a motor swap to a V8? Car looks like a GT/CS from where the fog lights are, or it could be a V6 with the Mustang Club package on it? Hard to tell from the OP picture if that is really a GT. Does the hood have vents?

My V6, I put the California Special Grilles in after my MCoA lower grille was broke by a Rock and I could not get a new one. Fogs are Stock. Actually Ford got their head out of the Butt and made the Fog lights the same instead of 2 different ones in like the 2011-12 when the V6 cars had the non projector style fog lights and the California Special had the Projector style.
