Glad you're not going with that cheap junk.

Get them custom made, or try retrofitsource.

I have Diode Dynamics COB's through a custom installer.

I've definitely considered raxioms but it seems like they look better with stock fogs plus why spend the extra money when I could find a way to do it myself. And thanks I'll have to check them out

I got the diode dynamics kit. It worked great. For 13-14 Mustangs, get the 120mm rings. The ones they come with are too big for our year.

^ shiaz, looks good. But I think either your shutter speed is too long, or f stop is too low for that glare. Our COB's look really good at night, but they don't really flare like that (unless your fogs are on, which I think they're not).

Did I just read you say that???

..............

do a search for a thread made by me and about HIDGUY.

After you read it, let me know if you are still considering them. Folks on this forum know about my experience with him/his shop.

They're like AM to me. Fool me once, shame on me. I'll never get fooled twice.

I did it myself. It was a fairly easy install. The hardest/most time consuming is removing your front bumper. Once the metal and LEDs are off the fogs, strangely, you put them in the oven. I did 235*F for like 15-18 minutes. You then take a flat head screwdriver and pull apart the epoxy that holds the lights together. I then installed the COB ring into the fog and re-epoxied the light back together.

I wired it to the #39 fuse in the engine bay fuse box. They turn on and off with the car.

^ marbles! Great job man! Where did you learn the process? My installer rocked it out so I trusted him on it, and he gave me a great rate. I also had him dechrome my fogs if you recall. Love it.

Hah. I like to think I'm pretty handy, so I tried it out. Lucky I didn't mess it up.

Here's the video I watched.

^ interesting. So Diode Dynamics, the seller of our actual halo lights, recommends we do it on our own eh? I guess that makes sense, esp if they're selling the light product itself. Hmmmm...

Actually......no. They recommended Demonized Designs. Diode Dynamics told me I couldn't do it with the 13-14s since they have LED fogs. But......you can, so I did it
