First time pulled over in my '12

So I'm cruising down the road, holding tight on 75mph....look in the mirror to see a State Trooper in pursuit...I head on to the shoulder, and he comes up hand on gun. He comes screaming that I need to step our of the vehicle and put my hands on the top of the car...

Turns out it was my buddy who finally was put on the road screwing with me. Just thought I'd share.

Small town love.

Wow, that's terrible. Hope he doesn't get into trouble for that. I thought all police vehicles had on board mics and cameras.

I was with a friend one time doing a little speeding around he was driving in his car and got pulled over. The cop came up to the car and asked for a light for his smoke. Turned out it was a friend of his Dads. Turned out to be pretty funny stuff. Cops are funny sometimes

In my neck of the woods, they get away with a lot. It was not so funny when I first looked in my mirror.

Yeah I think drawing a gun is a little too much.

Did you even read the post? He said he had his hand on his gun not that it was drawn. Pretty standard procedure actually.

Yeah, he didn't pull the gun on me. Basically he was acting like I stole the car or something.

Pretty funny. I have a habit of unsnapping my gun when walking up to a car and keeping my hand on top of it. You never know these days.

Agree, I would do the same if I were a cop.

cops are funny if you know them, they are mean if you don't.
in calgary over the past little while they hired a bunch more law enforcement people, the reason is that it does not cost tax payer more money because they can generate more revenue through fines and tickets with more cops...

I've pulled over a few of my friends. It's good to give 'em a good scare from time to time

About the audio and video recording... They can be turned off and the portable mic doesn't always have to be worn. It's policy depending on the department but if I'm gonna pull over a friend and have a good laugh I can always pull the mic off my belt and leave it in the unit. Mostly the mic is good to save your *** if you get a bs complaint from an unhappy citizen for being cited.

I grew up with a couple Metro cops and they used to toss tomatoes full of chocolate pudding at cars late at night. That all stopped when they hit their supervisor's car and he came out shotgun in hand. I was 12 and nearly died laughing.

Super Troopers was filmed a right near where I lived back in NY. And I definitely knew a real NY State Trooper who would torture us like that because he was out buddy.

One time he had a couple of troopers pull me over and give me a huge run around. Said they needed to call in a K9 cause the vehicle matches the description of drug dealers vehicle they were pursuing. Cause every dealer rolls around in a prime red '41 ****** that was almost done in the custom project. lol. I was more pissed than scared cause they were giving me such a hard time. Then he rolls up in his Camaro cruiser and just grins. SOB! Once I saw him I knew what he was doing and just busted up laughing. I bought them all a few rounds when they got off their shift just for playing along.
