First hints of a blown 5.0 ?
Its supposed to be going into the aussie Falcon for its 50th anniv.
Could it be a hint of what may be in store for the mustang (ie the boss some seem to covet)?
It is kind of strange however that the lowest level (?) will only make 422 hp, just 10 above the NA engine.
oops ... forgot the link: http://www.autoblog.com/2010/04/06/r...d-coyote-v8-t/

Sounds like it is just rumor so far.
And the Aussie Fords are rated differently than U.S. cars.
They use normally aspirated 5.4 DOHC motors in some of their performance models and it is very different than the 5.4's we get here.

Apparently one reason a TT 5.0 isn't replacing the GT500's SC 5.4 is that all the plumbing wouldn't fit in the Stang's engine bay.
Perhaps, though, the Falcon does have enough elbow room in the engine room.
Or maybe they're going the SC route, which seems to be a more compact approach.

This seems to add a bit more rumormation stating that there will be three levels:
lowest is the detuned 422 hp supercharged 5.0
middle is at 450 hp
and highest is a 536 hp version
of real note (well, of note in starting some rumors) is the reply by perez stating that his 'inside source' (no, of course i dont believe he has one, its just spreading some rumors) is telling him we (america) will be getting a TT5.0 soon.

I think they are all reading into it wrong.
I think those could be the levels of the engine itself...not all supercharged.
As far as I know, there is only one config. with FI, the rest would be NA.
And that would make sense, but even then....the F150 version of the 5L will be low HP, tuned for trq.
