You know, looking at the 3/4 external pic (and assuming its legit), I think I liked the GT badge better, both in style and font, and the very fact that it was there. I didn't think the 5.0 badge would replace the GT fender badging altogether. I know the new 5.0 is something to be proud of and so-equipped cars should be marked as such but the car is still a GT first and foremost and any 5.0 badging should be secondary, in my opinion...
OR, Ford is replacing the GT model with the "5.0" model...??
Good point, but I hope not.
This is a proper engine bay:

Yeah, well, you can't please everyone. For every one person complaining that engine covers suck, there's one complaining that the current 3V 4.6L engine, with its miles of wires, tubes, etc, "sucks," too. At least it looks much better than the Camaro's engine cover!
Wow......that engine looks AMAZING. That is something to really be proud of when pulling up the hood.
As far as the "5.0" goes, I didn't think I would be saying this, but I prefer mine. And I made it in 15 minutes with MS PAINT! WTF?!

We get it.
I agree with you that a positive displacement supercharger nestled in the valley between the rows of cylinders looks badass, but the Mustang GT doesn't offer a factory-supercharged V8. Therefore, I'm glad Ford designed something tasteful yet aggressive to clean up the clutter that plagued the Mustang GT V8's of yesterday.

I think it's a nice cover. It doesn't really hide the engine itself, just frames it. It's not like it couldn't be left off if the bare engine is preferred.
It's kind of like a push up bra...you know it's just for show and you would probably prefer if it wasn't there at all, but you still can't help appreciating how it makes things look.

I hate you Ford....Give me one now....
**** 4 more years of car payments...
Now...Do I want this or a pre-owned 2010+ GT500
On a side note, I imagine the 2010s will suffer from the same thing that happened to the 2004 GTO. If anyone remembers that the GTO was released in 2004 with the 5.7 and in 2005 the 6.0 came out. There are still dealers out there having to pay people to take those off of their lot.

Haha I said the same thing in the other thread.
Super GREAT looking engine bay. Clino your logo looks better IMO because the font is more modern. But overall I'm not complaining, there is now a 412Hp/390 lb-ft GT!
And is it just me, or does the second pic (with the whole car in it) look photoshopped??
