And I don't care for the 5.0 font either. I am glad it doesn't have an L behind it though.
Kind of reminds me a little bit of this...
I guess those are the intake runners that look similar.

Agree with both. Also see some FR500C Cammer in that intake/intake cover.

as a child of the 80's having 5.0 on the side is just so right (80's retro?) I bought my '10 knowing this beast could be all it was hyped to be but didn't think Ford would actually put out a std GT with this much power. Oh well, I just need to remind myself I didn't have the luxury of waiting.

Engine bay looks very clean and uncluttered. I like it! And, the 5.0 badging looks great. I've owned a few 5.0L's and so happy to see that familiar logo coming back!

You know, looking at the 3/4 external pic (and assuming its legit), I think I liked the GT badge better, both in style and font, and the very fact that it was there. I didn't think the 5.0 badge would replace the GT fender badging altogether. I know the new 5.0 is something to be proud of and so-equipped cars should be marked as such but the car is still a GT first and foremost and any 5.0 badging should be secondary, in my opinion...
