First of all, thanks to everyone for their kind comments. I'm new to the mustang world, and it is nice to see that there is such a passion for these vehicles. Many have commented about the missing parts of the pictures. Yes, my boys, my 18 mo old daughter and I are enjoying the car, but I would be remiss if I didn't thank my beautiful wife. Here's the story:
I've been talking about getting a high performance car for about the last 5-6 years. Lightly used BMW M models were always at the top of the list until the 2010 Mustang model refresh. The redesign hit the nail on the head for me, and it got even better with the 5.0 V8. I had pretty much decided to get one, but wasn't yet pulling the trigger. So, a few days before this past Christmas, my wife, went to the local ford dealer and got the order paperwork started. She (and our boys) managed to keep it a secret and surprised me with an order printout with a mustang key, in a box under the tree. I was shocked. We wrapped up the paperwork after the new year, and 4 months later, the car was delivered. What can I say, she's one heck of a woman!

She started the order process, WOW she is a keeper! Kids love cars, I was out of town last week when my 2012 Lava Red showed up, my son and grandbaby went to the dealership to look at it. Then my son called and said Jordan, my Grandson, wanted to talk to me, he is 3 yrs 10 months old. He said grandpa your car is cool. to hear the excitement in his voice made everything worthwhile, don't think he would of said that if it was a toyota. I'm 65 and little does he know he'll drive the "cool car" to his prom. Enjoy the Mustang, they have been a part of my life for many years.

There's such a great sense of community ITT. God I miss driving my POS 2000 V6. I need to get a new job so I can afford a new GT...AND the insurance/tickets that will come with it. ...I'm going to be confined to public transportation and/or an economy car with the way gas prices have gone. But either way, congrats OP on the awesome color combo and family!
