Feeling with automatic transmission with 5 Litre
Max, the peak torque in this engine should help from a "seat of the pants" feel in the automatic. I believe you are in Europe somewhere, correct? If you are already used to shifting a lot in your city traffic, then you might actually enjoy the shifting action enough to not mind.

If you're getting the Brembo brake package, the order guide says it's only available with the manual tranny.
If you gotta have an auto, get the V6.
If you're getting the 5.0, get the manual.
That said, I bet the 5.0/auto outsells the 5.0/manual by 2:1. And if my teenage nephew had an '11 Mustang, I'd want it to be the V6/manual.
Nice to have choices. And I think they're all good... REAL good. No rotten apples in this barrel.

With the auto and a tune you can smoke most stick drivers because most can not drive a stick worth crap. Go to the track and see how many GT's and SS's are running in the 14's because of poor skills.
