By visibility, I mean view out the windshield and maybe the side windows. I test drove an 2006 V6 Stang and the visibility wasn't too hot, but then I drove a 2008 GT and I swear the visibility seemed greater even though it shouldn't be?!

I also got in a Camaro and felt like I was blindfolded. Do not want.





Yes, I ordered my 2011 blind without test driving the 2010. Hush.

 

I ordered one without ever having driven an s197.

 

Maybe you were driving the 2006 at night and the 2008 in daylight?

 

They used the same roof top/glass etc. for the 2010 (2005-2009) and used it for the new body,................

 

I know. I meant more in terms of the new hood.

 

Well I drove a 2009 GT back to back with a 2010. The hood on the 2010 slopes down more, at least the parts around the bulge, giving you a better sightline out the front. Out the rear, it seemed like a wash. The 09 had a spoiler delete, so it seemed to have a better view out back, but not by much. Mirrors, the 09s were definitely bigger, but I didn't feel that the 10s were lacking.

The 1/4 windows on 10 are smaller. The mirrors on 05-09 are larger.

 

Also don't forget that the '11s have the funky side mirrors with the blind-spot concave mirrorlets built in. That should improve rearward visibility by a bit.
