Diode Dynamics XML2 fogs installed
I have them in my 14 GT/CS fogs. These aren't like the LED fog/DRL bulbs of the past. The new XML2's actually light up the road and have usable output. They are way brighter than the wimpy H11 halogen bulbs our cars came with. I notice a big difference running just the HID's alone and the HID's + XML2 fogs. With the fogs on, there is a lot more light spread out immediately in front of the car, especially off the corners of the car say at 10 and 2. They provide a lot of good "fill" light without being blinding to oncoming drivers.
A HID kit in the fogs will definitely be brighter but I can't speak for that not blinding oncoming drivers. You also have to mount ballasts and run the relay harness up towards the battery. The XML2's are great because you just swap the bulbs and you're in business. No ballasts or wiring to run.

What is the Warranty like on these Nick C.?!
On the projector fog lights, you could also replace the H11 bulb with a H9 bulb. Just a minor trim to a tab on the bulb and it plugs in. Same filament size and position so the optics aren't disturbed. You'll see a nice increase in output. It will still be halogen color though.

I went with the 6000K "cool white" initially as that or 3000K yellow were your only two choices when they first came out. I sent them back for an exchange for the new 4300K version. I'm still waiting to receive them. The 6000K had a bluish tint that didn't match the OEM HID's. Output and everything was great on them but I just like everything to match if possible.
All of our products come backed with a 3-year limited warranty.
The XML2 starts at $120 for Cool White, and we have to add $20 additional for the 4300K and 5000K options because the LEDs have to be soldered onto the XML2 here in-house. We use geniune cree XML LEDs (purchased from a U.S. supplier) for this application. The XML2 provides plenty of usable output and is much easier to install than an HID conversion kit.
If you have any questions, feel free to give us a call: (314) 205-3033
We are happy to help!

^ I second that.
Since I started this thread, I can provide updates. Nick, I am loving my XML2's!!! Been working like a charm. Bright, despite the blacked out/black chrome housings
Also, I saw your 2015 headlights on Instagram. Pretty neat. Did you guys develop that, or 3rd party?

Those headlights will be on display at SEMA, and we are very proud of them!
Most companies simply install LED strips in those assemblies, but that doesn't provide a very OEM look, or uniform light output. Our custom RGB DRL LED's for the 2015 look OEM, and provide plenty of brightness

Correct!
They are a great company to work with as well! They installed their custom sequential LED turn signal in there as well
I highly recommend The Lighting Firm to customers who are willing to pay a fair price for incredible custom headlights
For those of you wondering, we will be selling the RGB DRLs for the 2015 Mustang for about $60-$80 a pair. A similar product will be available for 2013-2014 Mustangs soon as well, we've done one of those sets as well

Curious... how much would an owner of a 2015 expect to pay for the WHOLE package? meaning... your LED lights, plus the labor? In other words, the owner drops off his headlights, and picks it up all done... I'm talking those lights you showcased on IG...
Btw, can you post that video on here, so other peeps can see it?
Thanks for info Nick.

I'm not really sure how much our dealers will charge for this installation. The LEDs themselves retail from us for around $60-$80 as mentioned, and they are actually very easy to install once the headlights are opened up. Easier than adding halos, or retrofitting projectors FWIW.
I would estimate maybe $500 total? (very rough estimate) or so, maybe more maybe less, just depending on the dealer and what kind of warranty they provide on the labor.
Here's a link to our Facebook with the video: https://www.facebook.com/DiodeDynamics
We are also on Instagram @diodedynamics
Tons of stuff will be posted this week from SEMA

The radiator cover will need to come off to gain access, but that's very simple.
Overall, it shouldn't take more than 30 minutes
