Cutting stock H pipe CATS off?

I just purchased a BBK o/r X pipe and had the idea to cut the stock h pipe so I could utilize the CATS. The thought is that it would give me the option of havering a Catted H or X pipe and o/r H or X pipe. My questions are, has anyone done this and if it's possible, where should I cut one the stock piping?

I'm not really sure what your question is, I have an X-pipe with cat deletes and have run it with and w/o cats. I prefer with the cats, so I don't stink up the whole car when I roll the windows down. Believe it or not, the cats do quiet the car down quite a bit.

Which car do you have?

2011+ GT cats are made with the H pipe as a separate piece, it bolts to the end of the cats, so no need to cut anything.
