Coyote, Roadrunner, Bobcat?
I'm aware of that. I was intending that to mean that, before the next redesign in 2014/2015, according to what he knows, which model year would he purchase. Does he mean to wait for the 2011's, or is he implying to wait for a 2012+?
Let me ask you something Boomer. I just watched a vid today on Car and Driver's site where they tested the 435HP 427R. I'll just discuss the straight line performance. 0-60 in 4.7 and 1/4 in 13 flat. The current GT tested by the same source (not the same day, of course) does 4.9 and 13.6.
So, logically the alleged 400HP '11 will be somewhere between the two, correct? I don't think I'd kick myself too much over that.
Unless you are talking about an SE...??

And don't forget what else the 427 provides, suspension upgrades. While they may be about the same in a stright line, the 427 may still have an edge in turns (ie. real life).
And all I really wanted was a 13 second car (13.99-), but since there have been engine rumors for quite some time, I'm gona wait for the 5.0. The new V6 might even be enough, but its still a big "might".
If I could afford one, I would most definatly wait for the "Boss". If ford does as good on the standard model as the rumors project, there is no way they can screw up the "Boss."
It is hard to say.
There are different things coming, plus you have to take into account a restyle or so.
All I'm saying is, wait at least for the 3.7/5L to show up before making decisions.
Keep in mind the offerings will get better and better, just like they always have.
I know what I'LL be looking for in the next couple of years... (the problem is they ALL sound cool)
but in the end, the almighty dollar might win this round with me.

Of course, Ford will (must) offer all this for something considerably lower than the mid to upper forties ($$$) of the Roush cars. I drool at the thought of the 540RH.

Besides, Grand Theft Auto will get you out in 3-4 years in some states with good behavior. Read the laws and shop accordingly
