I saw a 65 Shelby Cobra 427 pull up in the parking lot at the Grocery store. Blue with white racing stripes. I looked in awe, and gave the guy a smile and a big thumbs up.
I saw him on the way out of the grocery store, and he complimented me on my '14 V6! Specifically the Ruby Red and saddle leather combination of colors, and the glass roof. I smiled and asked him if he wanted to trade. (unfortunately, no dice!).
Nice to get a compliment from someone with a legend of a car though. Made my day.

There's this guy who drives around bright yellow 70 Mach 1 that is in amazing condition in my area. He seems to suffer from acute tunnel vision as twice I've given him a big thumbs up from my Race Red Boss and he just drives on by staring straight ahead.
The good thing about a true Gearhead is that they appreciate a nice car, no matter the year or brand. I do understand how it made you feel. It's always nice to get a compliment on your ride.
I always enjoy talking to that person that comes up, and talks about the Mustang he owned at one time in his life.

They're reproductions. They're not original Cobras, but they're quite real according to your pocketbook. Man, those things are expensive. I know, I've done my share of calling around to find out how much it would cost to own one. They may not be built in the 60's, but I'd drive one before you got finished asking me the question.

Kit cars. I saw one yesterday go by my house. Sounded so good. 'Sky still the limit' on the cost of one. I thought about building me one many years ago. Over $60,000 for the one i wanted
