A couple of times as of late. I turn off my 2011 Premium Kona Blue baby and take the key out of the ignition and and the chime sounds. No key in ignition no door open no lights on but the chime. Any idea of what My Mustang could be trying to tell me ?

 

If it is a single chime....just the way the car works as you remove the key. If a continuous chiming, something is registering as being on or a key registering as being installed. See the dealer.

Mine does a random chime sometimes when the key is removed.

 

Maybe it's telling you it wishes to be driven more.

 

Chime with no light could mean the airbag bulb indicator is blown and needs to be replaced
