It seems my 2005 Mustang does not want to go in "Park." I can't get the key out. I have to re-start over and over and finally, I can get the key out. What the heck is going on? Link slipped? Help.

The key can only be removed in Park .The switch that sends the signal to the ignition to release the key can be shot. Try using one hand to jiggle the shifter in park, and the other hand to wiggle the key or the lock itself in the ignition is gone or broken. The lock is what the key goes into and also locks the steering wheel. There is also a cable that runs from the shifter to the ignition, which can be getting snagged/broke, stretched to the point it is not working.
