I ordered the v6 premium (manual transmission) in performance white. I added the glass roof, Club of America Package, the leather interior (charcoal) seats, and the reverse sensor/security package.

It will always seem pricey compared to the US prices, but I managed to get 7K off the MSRP. Yay for employee pricing events, and a dealer that really wanted my business!

But boo for HST in Ontario 13% is painful!

 

I think mine ended up 14% less (I am in Canada also). So glad I dont pay HST though, just the 5%....ouch.

 

So any tips to pass the time while I wait for my mustang? I'm losing my mind...

Fwiw mine will be exactly 12 weeks from order to taking her home. Probably doesn't help you does it.

 

12 weeks! That's nuts. They told me 6 - 8 weeks for delivery. I hope that is as long as it takes. I don't really understand how dealer allocation works, but I hope it doesn't have a negative impact.

 

Ordered mine July 16th. ETA is sitting at October 5th right now, but is subject to change.

 

Ya I was told "6-8" too. IMO that's the salesmen standard bs line. I would probably expect closer to 12. I ordered mine 6/19 and it was finally completely manufactured 8/15, shipped around 8/22 and landed in Calgary around 9/1-4 (long weekend so I suspect added a few unnecessary days there) and then 9/7 to my dealer (7 km up the road stupid union people) Signed papers 9/8 (sat) and it will be tue due to the aftermarket protection package they need to get done (**** weekend). Tuesday is exactly 12 weeks.

I suspect it has something to do with lower priority due to location why it took 6-8 to even get manufactured. That and the "saddle" seats apparently I hear always add extra time.

 

I'm hoping that being in Toronto my allocation will be a little higher, and that would translate into a delivery close to the 6 - 8 week range. I'm sure the glass roof will slow it down, but I just want to be able to drive it for a month or two before it snows!

 

Just received my VIN! Estimated delivery date is Oct 24th! Thanks so much Deysha for all your help!

 

Hey Craiger, how many weeks from the order date? I ordered Sept 9 and was told it will be 12 weeks

 

I ordered it August 27th, so if it shows up on the 24th, it will be 9 weeks. I was told 6 - 8 so its a bit behind. I'm going to have to wait for the undercoat once it gets to the dealer, so add a few more days

What are you getting?

 

I ordered a grabber blue GT, recaro's, track pack, and glass roof. When it shows up it probably will go right in the garage until the spring. I have already ordered a bunch of parts so plenty to put on and wait.

I see you ordered the glass roof too. Good choice. Is yours a GT?
