Bummer
Which is odd, the LED strips are all that Audi uses I'm pretty sure.
Could be wrong on that.
You're right and Audi uses these in Canada too which is why this makes no sense

went to go see this new grille myself - the chrome is even thicker than i expected. On black cars, this chrome is very noticable...on white and silver cars, it may blend in better - i order my car in white...i guess we'll see how it looks soon. You be the judge

Which dealership is this?

Edit: only option for Canadians is to buy the GT grill from US and install it. Then they will have 2 sets :O

I do not understand this. All Canadian car shows have the fog light in the grill. Ford of Canada Build and price has the fog lights in the grill. The photo gallery has the fog lights in the grill. The Canadian models showing up do not have the fog lights in the grill and the grill is a V6 Grill...

Complete FALSE ADVERTISING. Once again Ford of Canada has given Canadians the short end of the stick...This is horrible. It changes the look of the car. I will Never again buy from a Canadian dealer. If they advertised it from the stat the grill was that of a V6 I would have no problem with it other than I would not order it. Who runs Ford of Canada??? What a joke...

Looks fine to me! I HATE the silly lights in the grill and always have. First thing I do is pull them out and replace the grill. As for the change, don't blame Ford!

The only joke here is your ranting over lights and a grill on fantastic vehicle. Both of which can be fixed with parts OEM or third party later.

Hey, I'm sure Ford is not happy with the change either! As for "false advertising" that stuff goes to press months in advance and if the government came back later and had them pulled that's that! This crazed indignation act is honestly lame, immature, and useless.

Sorry...we all have an opinion!

Hey, I TOTALLY AGREE! I think the chrome was a stupid choice NO QUESTION! But to come on here and go crazy saying your going cancel your car and sue or something I think is frankly silly. I would be bummed but just go looking for a suitable replacement and move on! This ranting is my issue as it's not going to change ANYTHING.

Time would be better spent discussing options and possible replacements and costs. Then approach your dealer with a proposal to swap it out free of charge or without labor.

All this silly "I'm going to cancel my order" as if the lights, or black trim on the grill, where the main selling points is, like I said, just silly.

Your must be wealthy , tell you what big shot...take over my order then since its not a big deal.

There are many performance cars on the market we can buy, I prefer to buy the one they advertised , and that isnt UGLY with that front chrome ......don't like the thread, or think its silly, move on.last time I checked,it was my money, and living here I can voice my point of view and have freedom off speech, regardless how silly one may think.

Why don't you call my dealer then and pay for a boss grille then, make it easy for everyone

FoMoCo may have find a half assed fix for this problem, but the real ones to blame here are the folks at Transport Canada.

True, people just don't know how to step into other peoples shoes in for any topic that don't concern them. if they decided to put the v6 bumper into the Boss cars, then you can imagine him go bananas
I mean people that will wait for a car, go to a dealership and look at their car when it comes in, and be like " WTF I didn't order a v6", its like "oh we didn't have enough green color, so we got you a red one, hope you like it".
This totally looks like a last minute change too, so someone at Ford had to displace the "Canadian Rule Book" .
Canadians pay more for these cars, they showed the GT as it is in US, website shows it the same way, and to get a car and find it to look totally different? I mean come on, be in the shoes of those people and tell me if you wouldn't go ape **** at the dealership when you receive the car you waited for so long. They at least could of gave the GT/CS grill just to make up for it.

+1

I cruised to three different dealers this evening and can confirm, the Canadian Mustang GT has the same front end as the base V-6 Mustang. Given that the GT was advertised differently, I'd be upset too if I had placed an order for a $48,000 car (which is what a GT cost in Canada.) The foglights in the grill are a signature cue.

I saw the chrome grill on a black GT, a SG V-6 and a Candy Red V-6 and I don't think it looks bad -the vented hood on the GT is awesome- but Ford of Canada sure should have done something different with the GT.

When was the Mustang GT ever advertised? No commercials are on TV here.
Pictures on Fords website do not count as advertisement. The web designers just use photos provided to them.

Personally I no longer like the look of the Fogs in the grill. Having them in the lower valence looks better, however they could have used bigger ones like the Shelby or Roush.

You post a rant you get what you get. You don't want an alternate view, it's easy, don't bother posting! It's really pretty simple as is swapping out the silly grill. FYI!
