No it has pseudo fogs of mesh that are removable for more air on track days.

No problem, then put the boss grille, not the v6 grille.

But, I would not order the Canadian GT with that front end. Looks like a trip the the US after all... Ford of Canada is sure making it hard to order cars here in Canada...
And you will save up to 10 grand in the process.

They honour it, on both my cars.

Are those solid with the mesh overlay? I thought they were straight-through and was wondering how much difference it could make taking them out.

Here's a better look, sure looks like hard plastic with a mesh texture;

Is that acceptable to do that if Ford wasn't allowed to. Hence the lower fogs.
Unless Transport Canada steps in and explicitly bans entry to GTs without specific modifications, it won't matter. No oil jockey at Chucky Tire is going to care if the fogs are LEDs or not, the car will pass inspection.

The other way to go is to make a TON of noise. A couple of years ago a bunch of folks got stuck with Hondas they had imported which didn't comply with the then new anti-theft requirements. TC made and exemption so they didn't all have to send their cars back to the States.

DRLs are manditory, so what do you have to do to comply...?
All '13 Mustangs have DRL's now, even the ones sold in the US.
Canada just won't consider LED's to be DRL's form some reason

I think that is the best way to buy these cars now. Ford of Canada has really priced the GT and GT500 out of range with the exchange rate near par. I would save at least $5,000 on a GT500 at sticker including $2,000 to go get it. Over $7,000 to play with and well over $15,000 on a new 12 GT500 with xplan and rebates...Why would you buy in Canada?

I think I will go out and get 4 LED bulbs and replace my regular bulbs, and I doubt for one minute I will get any grief over 4 LEDS and 2 HIDS!! It's horse manure plan and simple.

What you do and whats legal/complys with HTA are 2 different things.
Most cops won't care, and as long as it isn't a flat out problem...won't bug you.

They aren't going to stop you to check if you have an incandesent bulb or LEDs... nor will MTO.
BUT to have a car certified, thats where they catch that stuff.
It has to comply.

Now if you decided to have 6 forward facing lights on...a cop MAY have a problem with that. It goes against the Highway Traffic Act.
Heck the other day I saw some yoyo in a beemer with a red ring forward facing halo...illegal....

Exactly. On a 2013 Canadian Boss 302, what is used as the DRL?
